Story Image 1

In the lively streets of Seville, Spain, a little boy named Carlos and his group of friends were known as the "Mystery Solvers". One sunny afternoon, after a sudden rain shower, a magnificent rainbow arched across the sky, its colours dancing over the bustling market square.

"Do you think there's a pot of gold at the end?" asked Lucia, her eyes wide with excitement.

Javier, the brainy one of the group, adjusted his glasses and said, "Maybe, but we should find out if there are any leprechauns too!"

As luck would have it, just then, Carlos found an old, crumpled map under a nearby orange tree. The map was filled with strange symbols and had a big 'X' marked at the end of the rainbow.

"This must be a treasure map!" exclaimed Carlos, holding it up for everyone to see.

With their curiosity piqued, the friends decided to follow the rainbow, using the map as their guide. They dashed through the narrow cobblestone streets, past the towering cathedral, and over the ancient bridge, their laughter echoing in the warm afternoon air.

As they approached the edge of the city, the rainbow seemed to rest on a small, grassy hill dotted with wildflowers. At the top, instead of finding leprechauns, they discovered a peculiar stone statue of a grinning goblin holding a rusty old key.

"This must be a clue!" said Sofia, pointing to a tiny inscription on the statue.

The inscription read, "Seek what lies beneath the forgotten olive tree." With renewed determination, the friends searched the grove of ancient olive trees nearby. Javier, with his sharp eyes, spotted a tree with a hollow base.

Inside, they found a small wooden chest. Carlos used the key from the goblin statue to open it, revealing a collection of shimmering, colourful marbles. Each marble reflected the colours of the rainbow.

"No gold, but these are even better!" laughed Lucia, holding up a marble that sparkled in the sunlight.

The friends realised that the real treasure was the adventure they had shared, the laughter and the magic of discovering something truly special together.

As they made their way back home, Carlos tucked the marbles safely in his pocket, each one a memory of their extraordinary day under the rainbow.
